Types Of Lung Cancer
There are two types of lung cancers: small cell and non-small cell. The three types of non-small cell lung cancer: squamous cell carcinoma (the most common, often caused by smoking), adenocarcinoma, and large cell carcinoma.
Symptoms of Lung Cancer
These are some of the symptoms of lung cancer: * a persistent cough * a chest infection that does not get better with time * breathlessness or gasping for air * coughing up sputum (bloody phlegm) * an ache or sharp pain when you cough or take a deep breath * loss of appetite * weight loss * excessive tiredness If you have one or more of these symptoms, don't panic - there are many other illnesses that may cause these symptoms. Consult your doctor if you notice any of these symptoms.
